CENTRAL PROVINCE SHOULD COME UP WITH AN ANNUAL MUSIC AWARD
CEREMONY TO HONOUR ITS ARTISTES (CMA).

I have noticed with concern that
musicians and other artistes from the province have been lacking promotion and
support.
Central province has a lot of talent that is in need of exposure for
the nation to appreciate and as people in the arts within the province, we need
to comeup with this idea of showing recognition to our upcoming artistes.
The main aim should be to promote
our artistes in the province to gain better recognition throughout Zambia. CMA
should be made an annual ceremony to acknowledge and honour musical excellence
and creativity as well as provide a high profile and multifaceted celebration
of the rich cultural diversity of Central Province and subsequently Zambia.
Indeed Central Province is known
for producing some of Zambia’s finest in as far as music is concerned with the
likes of OZZY,Bob Muli,2wice,Damiano,Roberto,B Flow,D2,Drimz being a few
examples.
