What was the mistake Pamela Anderson made in her marriage with Tommy Lee?
For starters, filming themselves having sex.
I get that they were a “bad boy” couple, but cmon. Filming themselves and keeping it on a VHS in their house doesn’t stop it from getting released.
Her other mistake was marrying a rock star who was in his prime.
Those guys are tough to wrangle, prone to excess, drinking, and fooling around. It turned out he was abusive, probably because of some of the aforementioned issues.
If you put enough drugs and alcohol in someone—and then get into heated fights with them over fidelity—then some shit is bound to go down. He apparently kicked her while she was holding their 2-month-old son.
That fight was apparently over her refusing to call her parents and tell them not to come over. On paper, it seems like such a goofy thing to go nuclear over—but massive fights are rarely about the issue in that moment alone.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate tranquility. I wouldn’t want rock star chaos for any amount of money.
